There were rumors that the next iPhone would come without a home button. Samsung is currently lagging behind in the smartphone competition due to the failure of the Note 7 devices.
So definitely Samsung must make its next phone, the Galaxy S8, a big hit. The latest reports and rumors bring our expectations to new heights.
As of the reports from Bloomberg, the Galaxy S8 will drop the physical home button for an all-screen design on the front. This makes the home button to become virtually buried in the OLED display.
It is expected that Samsung's new flagship smartphone will be launched in March or April 2017.

According to the rumor, the S8 Plus will be 0.82mm shorter, 2.41mm WIDER, and 0.34mm thicker than the Note 5. That'll be a pretty wide phone! hopefully the added thickness means a bigger battery too.
