Adobe mobile version of Lightroom used to require a desktop app and a subscription to Creative Cloud for that to really work. But now it not the case anymore. Now you can use Lightroom on your tablet and phone to edit photos without a subscription.
You do not even need an Adobe ID to use it. Just download the app, connect it to your photos, and you can start editing them directly. Lightroom Mobile also now includes Dehaze filters, a camera function that allows you to record images from the app, and additional editing tools.
By nixing subscription requirement of Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan, Adobe has made Lightroom Mobile more competitive with other popular standalone photo editing softwares.
iPad and iPhone owners can now download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for free from the App Store.
