Chrome For Android Now Lets You Download Videos And Webpages For Offline Use

Download extensions for videos and offline web pages were present in the Chrome desktop application for a long time. However, since the smart phone version of chrome does not support third-party extensions, the video download and offline web page functions were not available for mobile versions.

Now the long wait has come to an end. Google has announced that it is developing an update to Chrome for Android (55.0.2883.84) that gives you the ability to download videos, music and entire web pages for offline viewing. There is also a new feature that highlights misspelled words in text fields and brings several improvements to the contextual search user interface.

New features will be coming as a  Play Store update. So check into your Play Store Chrome page to see if it is already available for you to install.
