Xiaomi Unveils Mi Note 2 With 6GB RAM And Curved Display


Xiaomi announced the next version of its Note series, the Mi Note 2. As expected, the Mi Note 2 has everything you can imagine from a high-end smartphone

The Xiaomi Mi 2 notes is made of metal and glass, and glass panels are curved on both the back and the front, the company calls this new design as '3D Glass' design. Since a metal body is an inevitable part of a new high end phone, as like its competitors the frame of the device is made of metal. The Xiaomi Mi Note sports a physical Home button below the screen, and that key doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The power and volume rocker keys are placed on the right hand side, while the sim card trays are on the left hand side.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display, along with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor fuels the Mi Note 2, along with the Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The 22.5-megapixel camera is placed on the back of this smartphone, while the front side is occupied by an 8-megapixel camera. The phone is backed by a 4,070mAh battery with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The Mi Note 2 comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and the company's MIUI 8 OS is installed on top of it.

The phone comes in Piano Black and Glacier Silver options and will go up for sale in China soon. The base model which has 4GB RAM - 64GB storage will go on sale for $ 415 and the 6GB RAM - 128 GB storage variant will go on sale for $ 515
