For those who have been waiting since 2012 the day, as expected, is finally here. Tim Cook showed off what the company has been working on all this time.
On the 25th anniversary of the release of the first Apple laptop, the company unveiled the new polished version of the MacBook Pro. The new computer is thinner, lighter, and much different form of the old MacBook Pro. As the leak suggested the main change is the new screen that is integrated into the keyboard.
This screen is placed instead of the function keys that existed on almost all laptops and other keyboard that has existed for decades. The company said it was "crazy" to continue using this technology - and so instead exchanged for a "Touch Bar".
The multi-touch bar can be used instead of the traditional things that the function keys are used to, such as changing the volume or light. But in other applications, it will behave differently - for example, in Safari, it displays icons for your favorite websites.
The Touch Bar also includes a TouchID fingerprint sensor. This means that people can unlock their laptop and make purchases with it by touching their finger on their computer.
With all this things Apple is planing to innovatively take its MacBooks into a new level.
