Mostly the people of china know about Hydrogen OS version of OnePlus phones. This is for the knowledge of the rest of the world - The Hydrogen OS has been a China only OS variant of OnePlus mobiles. The rest of the world were having and using Oxygen OS in their OnePlus phones.
Now OnePlus has announced that they will merge their oxygen and hydrogen OS into one operating system. The company with this new decision is hoping that this will enable them to provide faster updates and bug fixes with their two development teams combined into one team.
Apparently, Oxygen OS 3.5 based on Android Marshmallow already comes with some changes as a result of this merging decision. The look and feel of the build seems to indicate a combination of Eastern and Western UI styles.
