The new function will only work if the receiver has not read the message. iPhone users who have the beta version of WhatsApp installed can now test this feature. When users press a send message, a "Revoke" or "Edit" option appears and the message can be edited.

New reports indicate that WhatsApp is about to add some new features and revisions.These include support for larger emojis, public groups, mentions, and music sharing - according to the German tech site Macerkopf.

Music sharing will allow WhatsApp users to share local songs and songs on services such as Apple Music with friends and family. When sharing a track, a small music player will appear complete with album visuals for the song that is being shared, friends can then listen to the new song via the app.

The larger emojis feature look to follow the Apple's Messages app, which will support a similar feature in the upcoming release of iOS 10.

The new public groups feature allows users to join any public group chat through a link, and the group can be controlled by admins with the power to govern who is in the group.

Overall, the new update of WhatsApp would be a huge bang.

Now You Can Backup Whatsapp Messages To Google Drive

The new feature allows you to back up your messages to a Google Drive account that you specify automatically. Alternatively, the interval at which your messages backed up daily, weekly or monthly. This backup can even include all of the videos you've shared. You can backup to another device, or the same after a reset.

To backup the messages automatically do the Following steps


  • Open WhatsApp.
  • Go to Menu Button > Settings > Chats and calls > Chat backup.
  • Tap on Back up to Google Drive and set up the backup frequency to your liking.
  • You will be prompted to select a Google account that you will back up your chat history to. If you do not have a Google account, tap Add account when prompted. Please remember the Google account you are using for the backup.
  • Tap on Back up over to choose the network you wish to use for backup. Please note that backing up over cellular may result in additional data charges.

To backupthe messages manually do the Following steps Open WhatsApp.


  • Go to Menu Button > Settings > Chats and calls > Chat backup.
  • Tap on Back up to Google Drive and select a backup frequency other than Never.
  • Tap on Back Up to begin your Google Drive backup. This process may take a few minutes.
