OnePlus 5 Images Revealed Ahead Of Its Official Release

Just hours before the launch of OnePlus 5, Evan Blass has posted a picture revealing the front and back of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. Even though the company had previously revealed a picture of the phone, this is the first time a clear picture of the upcoming smartphone is being released publicly.

The new picture confirms the rumors that were coming out, from the picture it is confirmed that the phone comes with dual rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the front of the device. OnePlus has scheduled the release of the new phone on June 20, long before the company had revealed some pieces of information about the phone. The new phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

The new OnePlus 5 will come in two versions - 64GB Internal storage with 6GB of RAM and 128GB Internal storage with 8 GB of RAM.

OnePlus 5 Rumors And Specifications

OnePlus has always been a game changer in the flagship android market. Last year, OnePlus 3 was one of the few handsets to come with 6 GB of RAM. if the recent reports are true once again OnePlus is planning to make history. The latest speculations indicate that OnePlus 5 will be coming with 8 GB of RAM.

The huge amount of Ram will not be the only highlight of the new phone. OnePlus 5 is also expected to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipsets. This means that it will have and Octa-Core processor and an Adreno 540 GPU. This is also the same SoC that powers the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Like windows 10, which was named slightly deviating from its usual serial naming pattern, OnePlus is also planning to name its next flagship as OnePlus 5 instead of OnePlus 4. It's widely accepted in the tech world that this change in naming pattern is because of the belief that the number 4 in Chinese is considered as a bad luck.

Some of the Other new additions would include a dual rear camera, a more powerful battery and some design change to reduce the phone's weight.
