Leaked Slides Confirm Nexus 6P Will Have A Huge Battery

(Android Police)

There are some surprises to come about Google Nexus 5X and 6P, which should be announced Tuesday at an event in San Francisco. But a slide cover leaks, Huawei made Nexus 6P does tell us some interesting details about this phablet.

Specifically, it seems that Google is focusing on battery life, this time. The Nexus 6P should last long enough in your pocket with a giant 3,450mAh battery. This cell is larger than the batteries found in other more recent phablets like the Galaxy Note 5 (3,000mAh) and iPhone 6S Plus (2,750mAh), and it represents an improvement of 14 percent on the Motorolas Nexus 6 ( 3,220mAh) it is replacing.

It is not only a massive battery that will keep the Nexus 6P to die on you - thanks to the new feature Doze and other energy-saving improvements in Android Mr Doze promises to significantly improve the lives of Battery standby mode reducing intelligently refreshing background application. It is said that the battery lasts as much as twice the battery life in sleep mode.

Other than the big battery, slides confirm many details we have heard, as a reader mounted at the rear of fingerprints, 2560 x 1440 display, a Snapdragon processor C-810 and USB. But the slides give us a couple more on the design of the phone: it will feature a design "unibody metal" and will have a Gorilla Glass screen 4. As reported earlier, it will come in four colors - black, white, silver and gold - that gold will apparently only available in Japan at launch.
