Google Brings Retail Ads to Google Image Search

Google image search is a great feature that alows us to search for anything, or anyone just with a picture. Now Google has decided to make this image search as a new platform for the big G to show their ads.

So, from now on, when you search for something with the Google Image Search, for example a bag, then you will see bags along with a link to buy them. This is not the only update, though. At the moment with the search by location and store, users can browse all inventory for that store. In other words, Google is trying to make the most of the experiences you can have through an image search alone. This is a huge attempt from the part of the tech giant to compete with Amazon.

There are many instances in which you would want to do a google search using an image If you were on a desktop computer, you can use the reverse image search tool from Google, but unfortunately you do not have the same privilege from a mobile device -until now. A web developer by the name of Amit Agarwal has done us all a huge favor and created a package of Google Image Search that works on mobile devices.

The tool allows you to perform a reverse image search your phone in a few simple steps. Just head over to the site from your phone or tablet, click the "Select Image" button, and choose which photo on your device. For this, You will have to save the image to your mobile.

Once you select the photo, just press "Search" to perform an image search on Google reversed, as you would on the desktop. The tool works in your mobile browser and redirects right to Google Image Search. Agarwal said the tool will not store or share your data with other applications.
