Facebook New Feature Lets You Share 360 Degree Images Taken With Your Phone

Facebook wants to make it easier for users to share 360 degree photos. Now with the new feature, you will not necessarily need a 360-degree camera to share a 360-degree photo on Facebook.

On Thursday, Facebook released a new feature called "360 pictures", a new supported format for uploading smartphone panoramas and images with certain 360-degree cameras and photo apps. Facebook will automatically convert these flat images into interactive images that you see in the state in full screen by tilting your smartphone using the Facebook apps for iOS and Android.

Once you have uploaded a panoramic photo taken on an Android or iOS device, or upload a 360-degree view taken using a 360 photo app or 360 camera, your friends can navigate around the pictures marked with a compass icon by moving a finger or by tilting the phone.
