Bittorrent recently launched BitTorrent Live, a live streaming service that operates on a peer-to-peer basis. Now, the company plans further expansion. Now BitTorrent is considering launching a new TV news network for its live streaming service in time for the election this fall.
According to Variety, the San Francisco-based companys new peer-to-peer service will be called "BitTorrent News" and the company is currently hiring a new director and a team of journalists to round out the offering.
